Fred Glynn puts a lot of value on his health and fitness, which is why he sees to it that he runs regularly. He also does a variety of exercises and does strength training as well. Lately, he started a series of blogs where he shares what he knows about running and fitness.

For this blog, Fred Glynn talks about running and other cardio workouts people of all ages and fitness levels can do.

Of course, Fred Glynn starts with his favorite exercise of all time, which is running. Running is arguably the most basic of all exercises if one does not count walking as an exercise. It is excellent for overall health. Fred Glynn loves to run, and he even races. He has also mentioned several times that one of his favorite endeavors is to participate in races for a cause, such as the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

Fred Glynn recommends cycling for people who are a bit overweight and want to opt for something more low-impact to preserve their leg joints’ integrity. Like running, cycling is a great cardio exercise, and it allows people to go places they never thought they’d be able to go.

Swimming is the third exercise on Fred Glynn’s list. This full-body exercise has often been called the best exercise known to man as it works out the entire body with minimal wear and tear. This makes swimming ideal for almost anyone. The only drawback, though, is that not everyone has access to an ideal swimming pool.

Fred Glynn firmly believes in the health benefits provided by running and jogging. He also loves the outdoors, especially nature reserves in Indiana. For more on Fred, visit this page.
